Hermès Métamorphose

Every year, Hermès Paris crafts its collection and communication around one creative theme.  Our job was to use this theme (Métamorphose) to showcase the 2014 collection online.  In a film Directed by Julien Vallée, objects from the collection transform one after the other, creating an endless chain of metamorphosis in a surreal jungle setting. Handmade film techniques inspired by Hermès craftsmanship were used to make the film. The same artisanal approach was applied to every part of the campaign including banner advertising. For launch, Hermes.com underwent its own metamorphosis allowing people to jump into the endless loop from any point.
